Advocacy in Action

We engage in advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about environmental and economic sustainability issues.

We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in our hands to make a difference.

In 2022, TerraPlus Ghana was established as a corporation limited by guarantee to act as an advocate for environmental sustainability, sanitation, and health. TerraPlus Ghana is trying to build an enabling environment in Ghana and beyond through environmental and economic sustainability.

Our mission is to educate people on environmental issues by embarking on environmental awareness campaigns, enlightening people on the need for a clean environment through environmental sustainabilty programs and environmental advocacy programs, assessing and reviewing environmental policies with other stakeholders of the environment, adopting multi-sectorial approach in tackling environmental issues and creating opportunities. TerraPlus Ghana prioritizes our work in these focused areas in line with the United Nations Envrionment Program (UNEP)

Driven by the belief that “the value of life is not its duration but its donation”, TerraPlus Ghana LBG extended a helping hand to King Jesus Charity Home in Boadi, Ashanti Region. On August 13, 2022, the team donated essential supplies, including food, toiletries, and water, to support over 200 children in need. This initiative reflects TerraPlus Ghana’s commitment to creating a sustainable and compassionate society, with hopes of continuing such impactful gestures in the future.

TERRAPLUS GHANA KAMA CAMPAIGN REPORT

The KAMA Campaign by TerraPlus Ghana, launched in August 2024, focused on improving waste management and cleanliness in Kumasi's Tech Junction. Key activities included a community cleanup and the installation of recyclable waste bins. The initiative, supported by local partnerships, enhanced sanitation and promoted recycling while creating job opportunities.
